Designed so You Can Install it Yourself: Installation usually takes 30 minutes or less. Just follow the simple step-by-step instructions in the Google Home app.3 For most homes, there's no C wire required, which makes installation even easier.5 But for some systems, including heating-only, cooling-only, zone-controlled, and heat pump systems, you'll need a Nest Power Connector or C wire.
